Rainy day Oakland
We had lunch at the Golden Lotus yesterday. It's a vegetarian restaurant in Oakland located across the street from the Oakland Tribune. Delicious. I highly recommend it. Currently, we are waiting for the guy with the truck. All the stuff in the apartment is bagged and tagged and ready to go.

My mother's father was a cub photogger-reporter for the Tribune. And then the Depression happened. Have always loved their tower.
It's a great tower. I made a point of photographing it from all angles this trip. My partner's mom worked for the Tribune back in the day. She was 14 at the time. Oakland girl. She's in her 80's now.
