Sorry. Poor taste.

So, I went back to the palm tree picture which, despite my sorry ass humor I think is a great picture, and saw this strange apparition in the left margin, and eventually figured out it was a ghostly figure, but sideways--so I spent a few moments seriously considering the possibility that your camera is haunted, given its known proclivity for ghostly images, then I realized the picture was sideways! Mystery solved, and I like it sideways.

Don't worry about your humor here. It's all good.

As for the photo, yes sideways but my camera still may well be haunted. At least I want it to be haunted and anyway, who gets to say what's sideways?

I like the idea. Our perceptions are more a filter than an aperture. It is not so much a matter of believing haunted cameras into existence, but of letting it be haunted, if that's what it wants.
This is pretty much why I am having so much trouble with cropping photos. I crop them and crop them, then realize I like the original best, even if the front bumper of a '72 Dodge Dart impinges on the aesthetic beauty of it all.
I know--I need more coffee. Getting up right now.

Crop 'n' turn... and then turn again. Yes. Coffee.

One thing I like about the palm tree photo when it's vertical is that the weird perspective becomes more obvious. Compared to the palm fronds Kristiana is minuscule. It looks like she's wandering in a prehistoric world where everything is humongous.
