Hey Roy. Thanks. Happy day to you as well! Lucky you to see some free fellows out and about. I didn't see any turkeys today but several pigeons stopped by the veranda to take a sip and a dip in the tiny pool I put out for them. They also pooped all over the place so, sorry to say, future pool parties have, for now, been canceled. :)
It's too bad a few bad pigeons will poop in the pool and spoil it for the rest! We have a bird bath, but it is just a few feet from the front door, and the birds, while they will use it, are very, very cautious, and only dart down from the nearby tree, get wet real quick, and then flurry off back up to their tree branch. So . . . not very relaxing for them. Take care--hang in; 2020 is almost over.
I learned this morning that one of the pigeons decided to turn the area beneath the corner chair into a home. Now, don't get me wrong. I love pigeons. They are one of humankind's oldest companions. What other bird walks among us? They're totally cool. It's just that, well, the neighbors you know and M. Lee. A bit fussy. So, for now anyway, the party's over.
Any yeah. Thanks. I'll do my best to wait out 2020. What a fucking year. Holy donkeys! You stay tough too and safe. We've come this far.
