There is a baby!

"There is a baby."

This was the message our very exhausted son-in-law left on our answering machine today.

Happy Birthday Baby!

He was born this evening. I don't know much more than that, just got the call, but it sounds like all's well. So, whew and YAY! More later.

Don't know how that happened. Wasn't twins, was it?

Very curious. No not twins. My guess is that one of your alternate selves chimed in from a parallel world. These things happen. That or the universe somersaulted for joy at the news, thus accidentally duplicating the moment. Redundancies like this happen but less frequently than off world doppelgänger's chiming in, which is a good thing. As you might imagine, replays can really complicate things but luckily most people slough them off as déjà vu. In any case thank you and thank you.

Oh relief I can't have imagined being pregnant for two weeks longer than "normal".

It's my sense of the situation that this little being may just be a wee bit of a mama's boy.

Congratulations to all parties involved no matter how long they are very, very well worth the wait:)

Hi Kimberlee. I am so relieved too. Things had gone on long enough. Anita did really really well. She used the Bradly Method and just let it happen. She's a champ. All in all, third stage only lasted a couple of hours and mama, baby and dad are all doing just fine. :)
