We leave for Hong Kong in the morning and, on the 26th, fly from there to the US, arriving in Oregon 40 minutes later. I'm going to miss Thailand and all the lovely Buddhas here but it's time to go, at least for now.

Lately, I've been in a kind of emotional undertow. Sensory overload, I suppose. We've been traveling for the last nine months and, though I'm not all that excited about returning "home" I think, for a while anyway, it's where I need to be.

9 months good lord after 6 months I couldn't get enough tap water - we can drink the tap water here, it's amazingly good whenever I get home from travels the most intense cravings I have ever had are for tap water....you must miss something?

Yes. Tap water. Love it. :) And, of course I miss the kids and gkids but I don't count seeing them as being "at home". They are home, my heart center, but when I say "home" I am referring to Nevada, where we will be for the winter. I have friends there but I'm not really wild about the place itself.
