The weather here has been so erratic, I'm a bit worried that the squirrels will not have detected the usual cues to get ready for winter. In fact, all the animals' heretofore unerring sense of predicting the seasons might be at risk with climate change. Although squirrels are pretty clever and they might have a squirrel henge or something that they go by.

"I suppose insects are bad. They basically carry bad dreams to millions." -Arifin Azad
The above being a quote from the web site of the guy in the comment above me. His site is about Internet web design, or search engine optimization. The quote refers to bugs in programming (I think) but it was so great, it stands alone in its own context. I always wondered where bad dreams came from.
Meanwhile, I see only the occasional squirrel. They don't seem too busy or concerned about the weather, which, as far as temperatures are concerned, has been a wild roller-coaster ride so far. Looking forward to spring even though, as roller-coaster rides go, it could be even more alarming, especially with the return of the insects.

SO if you don't post new blog posts I'm just going to keep commenting on this one.

Unless for some weird reason I become a robot. Very small probability but you never know.

Dear Roy, given that until recently I didn't even know birds aren't real, I am not surprised to learn where bad dreams come from. Thumbs up on that, Arifin.

In fact, I wouldn't even be shocked to find out that you, Roy, are a robot. No problem, man. We can still be friends. Robots are some of my best friends and, come on, I already know you're not like Advice Robot. I've been depressed plenty and you've never advised me "commit suicide".

Ok. Will write a new post so we can move on to a new subject... after dinner of course.

Birds aren't real? That explains a lot.

Squirrels are real though, right? God help us if robots ever get that devious.

I recently commanded a robot to calculate the value of pi to the last decimal place, and he told me to commit suicide. I think. Or to do something to myself. Whatever. I grabbed his oil can and ran off with it.

That's hilarious. Did you write about it?
